October has come and gone and boy oh boy, did it zoom by in a flash. That might be because I took on the task of reading the Giller Prize shortlist and it turned out to be a bit of a dedicated project. When I wasn’t reading a collection of unique and captivating novels, I was attending book events. Alison Pick, Betty Halbreich, Alan Doyle, Lena Dunham and Amy Poehler to name a few. I also celebrated Thanksgiving a week early with my family and then again on actual Thanksgiving with my lovely friend family. As the leaves turned colours and the temperatures dropped, I don’t think I could have had a better October then the one you’re about to see below.
